Monday, September 30~Philly Walk~

Just walked in the door around 7 pm this evening.  Thursday I left for Delaware and it has been go, go, go from the time I arrived at 2:30 until 9:30 am this morning when we dropped Lily off at pre-school.  We spent two evenings down at the beach in Lewes, De near Rehobeth.

Saturday Luke had a football game at 8:30 in the morning then Luke and I went to a preliminary race at Dover as it was NASCAR weekend at Dover Downs.

The Monster Mile

On Sunday we were up at 5:30 am to drive up to Philadelphia for our cancer walk.  We did our mile walk and did the stairs to the Art Museum that Rocky ran in his movie.  We also had our picture taken at the Rocky statue again this year.

Time out to play in the fountain at the top of the Art Museum steps!

After our walk we drove to Constitution Square and saw the Liberty Bell and after having our Philly cheese steak we rode one of the DUC Boats and did the tour of old Philadelphia and went into the Delaware River.
Lily was fascinated by the cwack in the Liberty Bell.  She asked why it was cwacked and the Ranger said it "ding, donged" too much.  That seemed to satisfy her!

Our Duck Boat tour

Nana Duck was our tour guide.

Jim's Steaks is where we ate our cheese steaks!

Lily fell asleep sitting up

She woke up though, when we hit the water!!

These ware houses had been made into condos

Everyone got into the quacking sing-a-long!

Even Chad, sort of.

I am exhausted but so happy that I made the trip.  I was torn about going because my son in law, Matt was honored at the Red's game on Saturday as a Hometown Hero.  Andy went down with Bob, Adam, Daniel and Asher so we were well represented.  Kudos to Matt!!
This is what Lily put on at 6:30 am this morning
