December 23-26 ~A Glorious Christmas~

Trish, Chad and the kids flew into Columbus on Tuesday before Christmas.  Luke and Lily had school in the morning but left early so they could catch an earlier flight out of Baltimore. We had planned to go see the lights at the zoo but we were a little afraid the crowds would tie us up in traffic and opted for pizza at Tommy's and then home where the kids helped me decorate my special Christmas tree.  Sara and Matt met us at Tommy's and brought Mr. B so we had the entire family there.

Chad changing Arthur's diaper, Trish said this is the 2nd diaper he has ever changed! He changed Luke once.

Sleepover at grandma's
We have always hosted Christmas at our house on Christmas evening and this year was no different. The house was filled with food, way too much dessert, children, laughter and love.  We brought Mom from her place at the Mill Run Garden Care Center and I think for the most part she enjoyed herself. I think it was a little tiring for her. She loved seeing Arthur and clapping along during our Christmas Carol sing-along. I'm sure she doesn't remember any of it, but at the time she was enjoying every moment. That's all we can ask at this point.  Trish and Chad left on the 26th and Sara and Matt headed home on the 27th and now the house is very, very quiet but filled with another year's worth of memories. I pray your Christmas was just as special and full of love.  Happy New Year!!
