Ups and downs, 1 step forward and 2 steps back, nothing seems to go as we expect. Although, the surgery, the second in 6 days went well, the labs came back positive for infection. This means an extended stay and I.V. antibiotics for at least two weeks. Mr. Bichler is feeling great and looks the best he has for a long time. Ideally, we hope part of the stay is at Dodd Hall which can address his medical needs and provide the therapy to get him back to where he was at the end of February. And then, we both hope,it will be back home for good!
