Back on the trolley and heading for home.
Last night was a beautiful evening. The rain held off and it was very mild with temps around 75. We boarded the trolley on the Pearl Harbor Navy base and rode into Honolulu with the "crazy driver" her description not mine. We sang Christmas songs all the way and each time we stopped at a traffic light she rang the trolley bell and we waved to the cars around us. The kids on the trip were loving every minute and when we got to the center of town we could see the lights on the grounds around the Hawaiian Palace. We had an hour to get off the trolley and walk around to see the decorations and all of the lights. Shaka Santa was available in the ginger bread house but the line was very long and Evelyn was sound asleep so we took a picture and thought we could photo shop Evie in later. They had a festival of trees and a wreath contest with some very unique entries. It was a very enjoyable evening.
