Today we left Millinocket, Maine and headed north to Canada. Our entry into Canada was uneventful and the weather was beautiful, although a little windy as we traversed through New Brunswick and on into Nova Scotia. As we drove we noticed a change in the once puffy white cumulus clouds and ahead of us they began getting much darker. Soon we were driving in and out of pockets of rain. As we neared Port Hastings we began looking for the Cove Motel in Auld Cove. My navigation system, Dizzy Lizzy has been hit or miss on this trip and traveling in Canada sent her into a tizzy. At on point we took an exit to a Visitors Center and she tried to get us back on the Trans Canada highway headed back to the states. Luckily the Cove Motel had large signs directing us to our destination. It was very, very windy when we arrived and our cabin, not being extremely substantial is shaking around us. We are directly on the water and the white caps are looking quite ominous. The winds are supposed to subside later this evening. The temperature is 41 and feels like 25 degrees. Tomorrow is going to be warmer, we hope!
