Well we are here in the great state of Alaska! We had learned early last week that our flight to Chicago had been cancelled and we were on an earlier flight with a 4 hour lay over. We decided to switch flights and were going to go through Dallas instead. When we arrived at Dayton this morning, we learned the our plane to Dallas was going to be late and that we would miss our connection to Anchorage so they put us on US Air and we flew to Philadelphia and caught a flight non stop to Anchorage. It was to say the least a very long flight. But we arrived earlier than anticipated at 7:10 Alaska time (which is 4 hrs. behind us) and we were eating sliders at City Diner and checking in at the Arctic Fox before 9. Everyone is in bed as I finish this post. Tomorrow we head to Big Lake and will scatter Gary's ashes per his request in the lake with his friend Jerry. Later.
