Molly and Luke are both asking the same thing....Lily, should you be climing the stairs?
Molly is not sure what to think about Lily.
It has been another hectic week filled with unexpected happenings that are more recently becoming the norm and sometimes is a little disheartening. We have been experiencing some water problems, pump burned up and it had to be replaced and I let the outside water line freeze. Our friendly plumber, from Yutzy Bros. was able to fix those problems but we were still getting muddy water and low water pressure. Bad news..... have to have a new well drilled to replace the artesian that we have now. Bad as this news might seem, it gets worse. A stray dog showed up on our deck last week. A hound of some sort, sweet but noisy. I watered her because it was one of those hot days of extreme humidity. She and our 20 yr old cat got into a fight and we could hardly get them separated. Muffin was not going to back down. I called the dog warden to come get her but he thought we should wait until Monday so we could try to determine if she had pups somewhere. I agreed, but Muffin got outside yesterday afternoon and the dog showed up again and this time Muffin did not survive the altercation. I guess I should have insisted that he come out and try to pick the dog up. Enough of the depressing news. Trish and the kids came in Saturday afternoon which certainly brightened the mood. Molly likes Luke but is a little intimidated by Lily. Molly is funny to watch as she steals Lily's toys and takes them to her nest. Today Luke went to Sunday school and Pastor Pat got to meet Luke and Lily. We had a nice little get together at Grandma Peg's and Pop Pop Ed's house this afternoon. Tomorrow we are planning to visit the Wild's in Zanesville. I should have lots of pictures to post. Until then, have a great week. It has to be better than ours was last week!!
