January 11th

Mr. Bichler has had a pretty good weekend, we continue to see small improvements daily. The neurosurgeon saw him yesterday and is very pleased with his progress. The doctors think that he is a great candidate for the rehabilitation center at OSU. At the rehab center they will work with him on walking, talking and relearning some of the things that his brain has forgotten. We are hoping that he will get into the rehab center within the next week because he is tired of being stuck in the hospital.

I want everyone to know that he is doing better but I also want you to know that it is probably going to be several months before he will be ready for visitors. He has a lot of work ahead of him but he is a hard worker and very stubborn. He is going to pull through this as quickly as possible.

  2. Sara,
I'm glad he is doing well. My thoughts are with you and your family. I sent Mr. B a card, I hope he got it. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help any of you. Let your Dad know I'm thinking about him and I know he will pull through this. Thanks again for the updates.

  6. I am one of Mr Bichlers many students. My name is Chelsea Henry. If it wasnt for his support i dont think i would have been able to pass seventh grade science. I am a freshman now and everyday i wish i was back into his classroom. That is why I was devastated when i heard what happened but i am very glad he is getting better. He is deffinetly a fighter and i am praying for him evey night. I would love to come and visit him as soon as i can. I love you Mr. Bichler. I will be thinking of you and your family everyday. Get well soon
